FAQ’s

  • DO YOU HAVE OTHER LOCATIONS?

No.  Our location on 117 Wimmers Road is our only location.  We are not affiliated with any other farm markets, and our quality products are not sold at any other locations.

  • CAN I BRING MY PET?

No.  We kindly ask that you leave your pet at home while you visit our farm.  While we love animals, we regret that not all of our farm animals are pet friendly.

  • DO YOU SHIP YOUR PRODUCTS?

No.  We are sorry, but we do not ship.

  • DO YOU PASTURIZE YOUR CIDER?

No.  Our cider is not pasteurized and we do not add any preservatives.

  • HOW LONG DOES YOUR CIDER KEEP?

Our cider is not pasteurized and we do not add any preservatives.  Therefore, it only keeps 10-14 days from day of purchase unless frozen.

  • DOES YOUR CIDER NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED?

Yes.  Our cider is not pasteurized and we do not add any preservatives.  Therefore, it must be refrigerated.  A rule of thumb is to treat it like you would milk.

  • DO YOU SELL YOUR PRODUCTS IN BULK?

Yes and No.  We do sell our products in bulk for weddings, fundraisers, parties, favors, etc.  We sell our cider in bulk for personal use or commercially to create alcohol such as wine or beer.   Please contact us for details or to place an order.  We do not sell our cider for wholesale, because government regulations prohibit the resale of unpasteurized cider.

  • CAN YOUR CIDER BE FROZEN?

Yes. Our cider freezes very well for up to one year with no change to flavor.  To freeze in the jug purchased in, remove a couple inches of cider to allow for expansion, tightly close the lid and freeze.  To defrost, simply place the container in the refrigerator two days prior to intended use.  Please be sure to keep the cider cold and be mindful of the expiration period.

  • DO YOUR PIES NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED?

Yes.  Our pies contain fresh fruit and no preservatives so they keep best  (5-7 days) if they are refrigerated; however, they do not need immediate refrigeration.

  • CAN YOUR PIES BE FROZEN?

Yes.  Our pies freeze best while still fresh.  Seal the pie in an airtight plastic bag rated for the freezer and freeze for up to four months.  To defrost, remove from plastic bag to avoid condensation.  Cover the pie and place in the refrigerator overnight or about 6-8 hours for an internal temperature of 40° F or thaw on the counter for a maximum of 3-5 hours for an internal temperature of 50 ° F then refrigerate. For a warm pie, preheat the oven to 200° F, lightly cover with foil and place in the oven for 15 to 30 minutes to warm up the pie, not bake it.

  • DO YOU HOST GROUPS OR BIRTHDAY PARTIES?

No. While you are welcome to visit in groups or have a birthday celebration at the Cider Mill, we do not host the same.  Picnic tables are limited and available on a first come first serve basis.  Unfortunately, we do not take reservations.  We request that you bring your own supplies and clean up after your party.  Please note that we do not provide meals and no outside food or beverages are permitted.  However, sometimes there is a food truck on site and you may coordinate with them for food.

  • DO YOU CHARGE ADMISSION FEES?

No.  Most of our attractions are free to our customers, but we do have a few that are pay as you go.  Please see attractions tab for more details.

  • CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FOOD AND SNACKS?

No.  We do not allow outside food and drinks unless medically required.  Usually on the weekends there is a food truck on site.

  • DO YOU HAVE APPLE PICKING?

No.  Although we don’t offer apple picking directly off the tree, we welcome you to fill a basket from a freshly picked variety of apples.
